Connection Virtual Assistant Services was created by Christy Hernandez in an effort to bridge the gap between where business owners would like to take their businesses and where they are actually able to take them on their own.

Christy has been in the Health Information Management field since 2004. I specialized in medical coding and billing as well as medical transcription. I worked as a shift supervisor for a medical transcription company for two years.

Today I am a Human Services Professional/Life Coach with interests in family intervention and addiction. I am currently in college and hope to fully graduate with all of my certifications by May 2011.

I am a member of several professional organizations including The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI)
